Mid-Atlantic Quakers Admonish Friends Who Sign Associations

During the yearly meeting of Quakers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Friends are admonished "against entering into Associations and measures proposed by some inhabitants of these Colonies for the asserting and maintaining their evil Rights and Liberties which are frequently productive of consequences inconsistent with the nature of the Gospel and our peaceable Testimony thereto."
